Should Women Use Anadrol?
Most women bodybuilders who consider AAS stick to steroids which are least likely to cause virilization.
So, there’s Anavar & mild doses of testosterone maybe, unless they are paranoid about pinning.
Oral kick starters like Dianabol and Anadrol are generally considered too harsh for women. There’s almost a stigma associated with using these compounds if you are a woman.
To an extent, that fear is justified.
Virilization sucks. You don’t want to end up turning into a man by the end of your 16-week cycle with a cracked-up voice and hair sprouting from places that you least expect it to.
To make matters worse, sometimes the changes that steroids can do to your body are permanent.
If you don’t believe us, take a good look at Denise Rutkowski’s before and after pics.
The question is, does Anadrol really cause such changes to your body? Or can you get away with it in mild doses?
Don’t forget that in a therapeutic setting, it was administered to women in doses as high as 100mg/day.
Guess what it says about virilization?
‘Only four women showed slight virilization’.https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8785183
100mg/day is a dose that would produce great results for men.
That makes one wonder whether the so-called talk about side effects if often blown out of proportions on the internet.
Let’s find out.
Here’s what you can expect from an Anadrol cycle if you are a woman.
Strength Gains – Week 2 onwards – Anadrol Cycle
A woman should consider using Anadrol only if they have prior experience with AAS, which would most likely be with Anavar and/or Testosterone.
It would be fair to say that one of the first effects of Anavar that kicks in are the strength gains. If you thought that Var made you strong, wait until you try Anadrol.
Oxymetholone will make you waltz past your previous bests. You will be stacking em plates like never before.
Most women are quite surprised by the sudden and dramatic strength increase that comes with Anadrol.
Mass gains – Week 2 onwards
Get ready to get blown up like a thick, juicy sausage within your first four weeks of the Anadrol cycle.
The gains seem to be most pronounced near the traps, the lats and the shoulders.
If you are a hard gainer and find it too difficult to eat above maintenance for most part of the year, Anadrol will get you there without the fear of gaining fat.
However, it’s not just lean, quality muscle that you will gain on the cycle, like what you’d gain with Var.
Anadrol can make your body soak up tons of water. So, if you are aiming for a dry, shredded look, it may not be the best of choices. Or you may have to stack it with Anavar for a mild diuretic effect.
But, if you are looking to bulk up and you can control the bloat, then there’s no better compound than Anadrol.
Pumps – Week 2 onwards
Nothing else can give you the kind of muscle pumps that Anadrol does. And you will experience the pumps 24/7.
Depending on how you react to the compound (Different women react differently to androgens), you can either have a watery, puffy pump.
Or you can have a very dry and vascular pump. Bet you never heard that about Anadrol, which is falsely maligned for being a bloat roid.
But there are women who have used it at 25mg/day in split doses and made excellent, dry, vascular gains.
A side effect though is the unpleasant calf pumps that it tends to cause in some users.
This can make it impossible to walk or run for long. So if you are into HIIT, Anadrol might put a dent in your cardio plans.
Fat Loss – Week 4 onwards
Uhm, we are officially entering uncharted territory here because the fat burning properties of Anadrol are based purely on Anecdotal reviews.
Most women who use the compound for short stints as well as for extended cycles end up getting leaner and trimmer at the waist.
It is a DHT derivative. That could explain the possible fat burning effects. But it has a very weak binding affinity to androgen receptors, which is why it has very weak virilization effects. So that’s not entirely conclusive.
Irrespective, Anadrol will make you leaner and help in lipolysis provided that you have your diet dialed down.
Some tips for women using Anadrol
Don’t be thrown off by half-baked facts posted on messaging boards about Anadrol being an extremely dangerous steroid for women.
It is in fact, one of the most well-tolerated steroids provided that you know how to use it.
Here are some tips if you are looking to tap into the power and potential of Drol.
- Start at the lowest possible dose: For women, a conservative starting dose would be 12.5mg/day split into two doses. Any experienced roid user would realize that this is half the normally recommended dose. But we say that it’s better to start lower than everybody else than starting with the upper limit and getting hit with the severe sides. If you can tolerate the drug well at 12.5mg/day, double the dose for the last few weeks of the cycle. 25mg/day split into two doses.
- Watch out for the sides: For most women, the dreaded side effect is virilization. So watch out for signs of virilization closely. Do you notice any added and sudden, unpleasant sensitivity in the clitoris? Is it enlarged? Do you have facial hair sprouting? Is your voice cracking or deepening? On a positive note, Anadrol does not cause your menstrual cycle to go haywire.
- Add TUDCA to your cycle: TUDCA is readily available on the internet. Do yourself a favor and add it to your Anadrol cycle. Not only will it minimize the liver toxicity, it will also help you with the appetite if Anadrol tanks it.
- KISS: Keep it simple. If it’s the first time you are using Anadrol, do not run a stack. Run it solo to know how your body reacts to the compound. Only go for a stack if you have run multiple solo cycles of Drol with zero problems.
