Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy is the use of anti-cancer (cytotoxic) drugs to destroy cancer cells (including leukaemias and lymphomas).

This section of the website is intended to give you an understanding of what to expect if chemotherapy is going to be one of your treatments.

You may also find it useful to have a look at the chemotherapy room in the Virtual Hospital Departments on The Royal College of Radiologists' website.
