Ms Liz Henderson, NICaN's Nurse Director became a Fellow of the Royal College of Nursing at  an Award's ceremony  at the RGN Annual Congress and Exhibition in Liverpool on Sunday 10th April 2011.  RCN Fellowships are awarded to UK registered nurses who have made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of nursing and or healthcare.  Five other Fellowships were awarded at the ceremony. 

The RCN stated "An exceptional leader in the field of cancer nursing and the development of cancer services in Northern Ireland and beyond, Liz Henderson has a longstanding and impressive record in the field of cancer nursing and oncology."   Further details are available from RCN Website
