Will treatment for ovarian cancer make me infertile?
Surgery usually means having a hysterectomy, which will leave you unable to have children. The surgeon will usually want to remove both of the ovaries, because there is a chance that cancer
in one could spread to the other.
However, if you have an early cancer, it may be possible to take out only one ovary. Your doctor will discuss this with you, if it is feasible in your case.
