Can the risk of gall bladder cancer be reduced?

Because the gall bladder is tucked deep in the body, early tumours are hard to find by routine physical examinations.

There are no screening tests that can find early gall bladder cancer.

If you are found to have large gall bladder polyps, they should be removed by surgery (laparoscopic cholecystectomy).
