Most patients go to the doctor because they have noticed bleeding or discharge from underneath the foreskin. This may be a sign of another, less serious problem such as an infection, but it is wise to see your GP if you have these symptoms.

Underneath the foreskin there may be a growth, sore, spot or ulcer that does not heal – but if you can’t pull back the foreskin fully, you may not be able to see it.
