‘Genevieve and the Farmyard Olympics’

The Ulster Cancer
Foundation (UCF), with support from Lidl Northern Ireland, is launching an exciting new educational resource called ‘Genevieve and the Farmyard Olympics’ designed to teach nursery school children about the importance of healthy eating and regular exercise as a first step to a healthier future.
Guests will enjoy tea and coffee in the Family Room in Mount Stewart House from 10.30am followed by the official launch at 11am with speakers including: BBC reporter Sarah Travers, Gerry McElwee, Head of Cancer Prevention, Ulster Cancer Foundation and Lizzie Lumsden from Lidl Northern Ireland. At 11.10am writer Eunice McKerrow will read ‘Genevieve and the Farmyard Olympics’ to children from Rockport Pre-school, Holywood followed by interview and more photography opportunities from 11.30am.
