Awareness volunteer training, BelfastSubmitted by amccune on Tue, 2015-09-29 15:36
Bowel Cancer UK is currently recruiting volunteers to help raise awareness of bowel cancer.
In Northern Ireland, more than 1,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer each year. It’s the country’s second biggest cancer killer, but it shouldn’t be. Bowel cancer is very treatable especially if diagnosed at an early stage. Bowel Cancer UK is determined to save lives and improve the quality of life for all those affected. Our mission is to champion early diagnosis, improve treatment and care and enable research into bowel cancer. We want to make sure everyone knows about the disease, recognises the symptoms and knows what to do next.
